Alexandra & Richard

Beatrice & Tomas got married in a Swedish castle on sunny day. It was all smiles and I was honored to be there for their big day. I photographed and filmed the whole wedding. We stayed up until sunset and then even stayed on until sunrise as we took our last photos.

Preparation

Beatrice had a perfect room, white ceiling so I could bounce my flash and make everything bright and colorful.

First-look & Couple photos

First-look had all the tears. I couldn’t help but to tear up myself too. I found a lovely spot next to a big tree where the sun wasn’t so strong, so the light would be even and the background both ways would be beautiful. Then they kissed away.

Ceremony

The church was a small and beautiful one. I grabbed them after the ceremony when everyone had left and took some photos inside while my assistant was getting the guests to line up in the best way possible. And then they came running out!

Mingle + Red Carpet

I strongly suggested that Beatrice & Tomas should have a moment for themselves just to digest everything so far and enjoy the moment.
On to the mingle. I walked around with my by far favorite lens and tried to catch genuine moments of people laughing or smiling or crying. Sometimes I had to tell some to move slightly so the sun wouldn’t cause a huge shadow on their face. Then I set up the red carpet and we took some photos with B&T, and then moved on to all the guests.

Dinner

They fed me with the best food I’ve eaten in years, deep-fried potato with boiled onions, mmmmmmmhhhh delicious!
Then when the speech or games started I was back at it. as I wanted consistent bright and beautiful lighting I set up an off-camera flash in the corner of the room and lit it towards the ceiling.
